PETOVIC PULLS OFF MASSIVE SHOCK TO REACH SEMIS
Andera Petkovic pulled of the shock of the round as she cruised to
the semi final beating Sara Erani.
At the early stages of the first set she broke to take control of the first set
and after her second break she did the same. Everybody expected Erani to come
back in the second set but she did not as the same thing happened and it is
very rare that a seed is outclassed but that was what happened as Petovic was both
strong at the back of the court and when she went up front and wanted to be
aggressive

In the other semi final Simona
Halep showed why she was the seed as she got an easy win against Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia showing
what made her of the best players in the world as she cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win
and you would think that she is ready for a
Simona Halep should be good enough to win this match in 2
sets ut with the way that this is going anything can happen
