Derby county managed to reach the play off final with a 4-1 win of Brighon. A first half goal from Hughes on 34 followed by goals From Martin on 56 Thorne on 76 and Henrick on 87 gave Derby a 4-0 lead but Brighten did pull one back from Lua Lua on 89 but it was for nothing as with a 2-1 win in the first leg Derby secured a place at Wembley
Celtic secured the Scottish Premiere League with 99 points and was the team of Scotland second place went to Kilmarnock who piped Aberdeen in the last minute to second place
